With a notarial will or inheritance contract, you ensure that your estate is settled according to your wishes — clearly worded, officially deposited and registered in the Central Register of Wills.
We advise you on individual wills, joint spousal wills, inheritance contracts and supplementary provisions (lasting power of attorney, living will) — also with regard to compulsory portion rights, blended families and business succession. As notaries with a tax law background, we also keep inheritance tax in mind.
We discuss your family and financial situation and your goals — confidentially and without time pressure.
We develop the appropriate structure (will, joint will or inheritance contract) and prepare the draft.
At the appointment, the deed is read aloud, explained and signed.
Your will is officially deposited and registered in the Central Register of Wills — it cannot be lost.
The fees are fixed by law and are based on your net assets (assets minus debts).
Examples: net assets €100,000 — individual will (1.0) €273, joint will/inheritance contract (2.0) €546. Net assets €250,000 — individual will €535, joint will/inheritance contract €1,070. Net assets €500,000 — individual will €935, joint will/inheritance contract €1,870. Plus expenses, the fee of the Central Register of Wills (currently €12.50 per testator) and VAT; deposit with the local court costs a one-off €75.
For comparison: in most cases, the notarial will replaces the later certificate of inheritance, whose costs are usually significantly higher. Notarial official activities are subject exclusively to the statutory fees.
