The acquisition or sale of real estate requires notarial certification by law. We prepare all necessary deeds and ensure legally compliant processing.
Our notarial services cover purchase contracts for residential and commercial properties, mortgage registrations for financing, conveyances, as well as developer agreements.
You send us the key terms of the transaction. Advice prior to drafting is provided as needed.
We prepare the draft purchase contract or other deed and send it to all parties for review.
All parties have at least two weeks (for consumer transactions) to review the draft.
The deed is read aloud in its entirety and signed by all parties.
We apply for priority notice, obtain required permits, and file with the land registry.
Notary fees for real estate transactions are legally fixed by the Court and Notary Fees Act (GNotKG). The fees depend on the value of the transaction and are uniformly regulated throughout Germany.
As a rough guideline, notary and land registry costs together usually amount to around 1.5% to 2% of the purchase price. The exact amount follows from the GNotKG; on request we will tell you the fees to be expected.
We are happy to arrange a personal consultation for your notarial matter. Please contact us by phone or email.
Notarial official activities are subject to the statutory fees under the German Court and Notary Costs Act (GNotKG). A free initial assessment does not apply to notarial official activities.
