Accounting Expert Digitalization (m/f/d)

compleneo is a multidisciplinary firm based in Braunschweig, specializing in law, tax advisory, and notarial services. Beyond traditional consulting, we actively drive the digitalization of business processes — particularly in accounting for our clients, where historically grown, manual workflows are being replaced by modern software solutions.

We are looking for an experienced professional to support our client projects with in-depth accounting expertise — as a subject matter expert for specific accounting questions and as an advisor to our team in designing digital solutions. You are not a mere bookkeeper, but the person who maintains the overview, understands processes, and sets the professional framework for implementation.

Your responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert: Central point of contact for accounting-related questions from our clients — you clarify technical issues, assess situations, and provide recommendations
• Creating order: Cleaning up historically grown, partly unstructured accounting processes, standardizing them, and building a solid foundation
• Process analysis: Systematically recording, evaluating, and identifying optimization potential in existing workflows
• Digitalization consulting: Determining which manual processes can be meaningfully automated and in what order
• Compliance: Ensuring that legal requirements (GoBD, UStG, HGB) are correctly reflected in digital solutions
• Interface function: Translating accounting requirements into clear specifications for the development team
• Migration support: Supporting the transition from manual to digital processes for our clients
